Oba Izakaya

This was our first experience eating Japanese cuisine. The staff were so awesome and friendly, they made our experience so nice in helping choose a variety of different authentic food. The food was so delicious and so amazing. Really enjoyed the fact that you can order dishes one at a time and the service was so fast. I will definitely be visiting again and again and again.

Amazingl experience, really good food and honest price

Sushi was brilliant. Seafood ramen was amazing . Probably the closest thing I've found to authentic Ramen in London. If only they served chicken ramen as well!

Fantastic dining experience.... food was expertly prepared and tasted bloody excellent! Slightly expensive... but it's worth it!

Very nice food, went with wife and 3 kids and had various dishes all very good. Restaurant was about 40% full so service was very good. Need to add more desserts.

Below average in London in my opinion. Sushi is very low quality while warm dishes are ok. Service is nice and friendly.

The food at C&R Izakaya was delicious. Their Ramen was full of flavour whilst their sushi balanced texture and taste superbly. It’s a very unassuming place from the outside, but one worth checking out.The staff were so friendly and welcoming too and the prices very reasonable for the quality you get.The ambience was relaxed, nothing was rushed and the music was chilled and not too loud!

Excellent food, excellent service. What more could you want?!

Friendly staff, enjoyed their starters (very delicious!) but a bit disappointed with their main ramen... not that much of flavour unfortunately. We spent around 50ish GBP with my partner, could have been a bit cheaper!

Halal Japanese Food. Tasty food and excellent service. We were served a complimentary appetizer, which was really a surprise.

The best Japanese restaurant in London.

Decoration was pleasant. Staff were friendly and attentive, even bringing us more napkins without us saying anything. Toilets were clean and empty tables were nice and tidy. Food and drink presentation was beautiful and the timing of service was appropriate. The egg, though, in the Izakaya Seafood Ramen was too well done for a typical ramen. Overall, we will return and recommend this place.

A great surprise on a street full of restaurants. We went to have dinner and we found a very good japanes. Price so nice by the quantity of food...

Brilliant service. Very friendly and warm. Calming atmosphere. You must order katsu curry, delicious, the tastiest I've had. I'm visiting again very soon.

Probably the best Asian restaurant you can find in west London. Super fresh, carefully prepared food, and delightfully polite and friendly staff. it's been a true pleasure.

Tasty Japanese dishes. First time there. Am definitely on the list for many repeat visits. Recommend the octopus balls ie Tako Yaki and eel rolls.

Highly recommended for those who love authentic Japanese food like sashimi, sushi etc ... the food quality consistently high and its the best places for hanging out with friends who enjoyed Japanese food 😋 would definitely go back again with my friends !

Lovely but very expensive sushi. Best part is the lunch deal so go during lunch time. The volcano maki was really good.

Super serviceGreat food

The crispy duck sushi was the best sushi I’ve ever had but it is quite expensive compared to other places. However this the only place (that I’ve come across) serving all halal meat so there’s no chance of any cross contamination. Service was very good, all the waiters were polite and attentive. The decor is nice and would be good for special occasions. I would definitely be coming back!

Delicious Japanese food! They have a very diverse menu (separate sushi menu) and an array of hot dishes. San and her team were amazing! She was wonderfully patient with our group of 16 guys for my friend's Stag-Do meal. The restaurant has a great ambience and decor and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and time there. I will definitely be coming back. I'd definitely recommend going there. Thanks again San! :)

We don't know of any Japanese restaurant in London that offers a fully Halal food menu other than C&R Izakaya.With an extensive menu, including a large sushi section, there's more than enough variety of quality dishes to have you spoilt for choice. After all, how many places offer large, delicious bowls of Halal ramen at very reasonable prices? This place has amazing seafood and would eat here every day of the week. Fairly priced and not too many options!

The best Sushi place in London, great service and friendly staff.Always tasty, a little pricey but worth every penny. They have seating for any number and also have a private room for larger groups.My go-to place for sushi. 10/10

This is a unique Japanese restaurant which stands out from others. The food is perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. There is a huge amount of choice (including some unique dishes that I haven't found anywhere else) and it is well worth ordering a few different dishes and sharing in a group. The unlimited refill green tea was also a nice touch, and the service was very good. A bit on the pricey side, but I will definitely be coming here again.

Stunning food, fantastic service and a relaxed atmosphere. Few negative comments about the decor but personally I thought it was great. Food and drink might be quite expensive but worth every penny. Portions are just right for someone with a moderate appetite. Whisky selection was fantastic. They aerve Yamakazi single malt, definitely try a glass.

Food is lovely and portions are big so we shared a main last time we went. We’ve only been twice, both times on Valentine’s and the waitress didn’t only remember us, but she remembered our last order as well!! I highly recommend their takoyakis! If we lived local we’d definitely visit more often!

Amazing. I've eaten a lot of sushis all around the world and the freshness of these dishes are amazing. The tuna sashimi stole my heart. Melting like butter with this meaty and oishi taste. A whole umami experience. Share the big platter menu, it's perfect and amazingly prepared. The fusion food maki are really nice too. Their fish selection is terribly good and the rice is perfectly cooked. A must in London.

The food and atmosphere is great. It can be a little pricey but the quality really is worth it. There is a quiet ambience that diners will likely appreciate as well as lights that are slightly dim - which helps the atmosphere for the evening.

Ambience was very nice! Maybe a little too quiet, the waiters could maybe speak abit more but amazing food. Seafood ramen and wagyu beef was just peng!
